  • Donate specifically to our building fund through the below widget. (Note that this widget only shows the amount of money donated to the building fund online. Because we have had other types of donations and fundraisers toward this project, we actually have about $3,000 in the building fund currently.)
Let's think about the realities of the building fund.

First, let's put a number on it. Let's say we could get something good to start off with for $80,000. Now that sounds like an awful lot of money to raise to begin with, BUT...

There are hundreds of Holly's Place supporters. This IS do-able!

80 people who can donate $1,000 or

40 people who can donate $2,000 or

20 people who can donate 4,000 or

10 people who can donate 8,000

OR any variation on this, INCLUDING the hundred dollar donations that add up.

The rule of thumb with a donation jar is that people are more likely to donate if they already see dollar bills inside the jar. Maybe it makes them realize that other people believe in the organization. Or maybe it makes them think that if others can sacrifice some cash, so can they. Whatever the reason, though - we need to start filling THIS donation jar. More people will be more willing to donate if they see that others are willing to do so.

We can do this - and you can be a part of it!
