Dog
Adoptions Page 1
Many
of the dogs listed on our site are at local shelters where they
run the risk of their time running out. Because we can't take
every dog in need, we try to spotlight them here on our website
so they get more exposure, and hopefully permanent homes.
We
rely on foster care for dogs while looking for permanent home
for them. If you or anyone you know are interested in fostering,
please contact Victoria King at 502-859-5342, info@hollys.org

Cooper
is a young adult chow mixed with some sort of northern breed dog.
He actually doesn't have a single black spot on his tongue that
we can find. But he's big and fluffy like a chow. He is currently
being housetrained. He seems to get along with most other dogs
and he is a real sweetheart with people.

Walter
is your typical happy, wiggly pit bull. He was found in Lexington
and when no one claimed him, one of our former adopters decided
to foster him. He is currently getting housetrained, crate-trained
and is living with other dogs and a cat.

Jenny
Grace
is a sweet, loving, sociable, young beagle mix, about a year and
a half old. She is housetrained, good with dogs, cats, and kids
(but not chickens - so not a good farm dog). She needs to be fenced
or leashed at all times because she is a runner (but NOT an escape
artist - so there are no special needs with fencing).
To
adopt, contact us at 502-859-5342 or info@hollys.org.

Lily
is 20 lbs. She is good with other dogs and with children, and
is a good watchdog. Lily is housetrained and crate trained. She
can be a bit hyper but loves to snuggle with you on the bed. She
also will "hug" you by standing on her feet and placing
her paws on her shoulders. She is an escape artist and would require
something over a 5' fence. She also will dig. A silent fence seems
to work for her as well.
To
adopt, contact us at 502-859-5342 or info@hollys.org.

Josie is a yellow lab/St.
Bernard mix who was adopted out, but had to be returned when her
owner developed a serious medical condition. She is housetrained
and does well with other dogs, cats, and kids! She's a very, very
loyal companion.
